Meet NYC’s Best Health Coach
The women in wellness who inspire me: Candice Kumai (L) and Kris Carr (R)

I’ve been blogging since June 2009 and originally created Where I Need To Be as a way to record my perceptions and reflections on my transformational journey of study at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), the world’s largest nutrition school. Now that I’m a Certified Holistic Health and Wellness Coach, my intention is to share my knowledge and lessons learned to inspire my readers on our shared lifelong journey toward health, wellness, spirituality and greater self love. I’ve studied with and been inspired by wellness and nutrition greats like Mark Hyman, Joel Fuhrman, John Douillard, Deepak Chopra, Geneen Roth, Mark Sisson, David Wolfe, Kris Carr and Candice Kumai.
Take comfort in knowing that wherever you are right now, is exactly “where you need to be”!
As a Certified Holistic Health and Wellness Coach, Healthy Living and Cooking Expert and the Founder of Marissa’s Well-being and Health, I take the guesswork out of healthy eating and inspire women all over the world to ditch the diet mentality, end their love/hate relationship with food and turbocharge their health to become holistically hot in a way that’s fun and fearless.
