Top diets of 2015 - vegetables - Where I Need to Be

A new report by US News & World Report ranked the top diets of 2015.

Thirty-five popular diets were scored by a panel of health and nutrition experts based on how easy they are to follow, nutrition, safety, efficiency for weight loss and protection against heart disease and diabetes.

I’ve never been, nor will I be, one to say any one diet is better than another. Everyone is different and what works for one will not work for another.

But what’s interesting is that most of these top diets of 2015 (even the lower-ranking ones) have one thing in common: They’re heavy on the whole foods, especially the plant foods

Ask Me Anything - plant based dietsWe can ALL use more plants in our diets and that’s exactly why I’m hosting a free Ask Me Anything call this week to address plant-based diets.

This call is your chance to ask me, a 20+ year veteran of plant-based diets, anything and everything you’ve ever wanted to know.

When I became a vegetarian at the age of 13, little did I know I was embarking on the adventure of my life and paving the way for a lifetime of health.

But as a “junk food” vegetarian it took me a while to figure things out.

While I no longer call myself a “vegetarian” (we’ll talk about why on the call), I know the ins and outs and ups and downs of eating plants.

We’re not just talking about vegan and vegetarian diets here. We can all use more plants in our diets whether you want to follow a specific way of eating or not.

Anything you can think of is yours for the asking:

  • How to incorporate more plant foods into your day
  • The best way to transition into a plant-based way of eating
  • How to make your vegetables more exciting
  • Advice for dealing with the naysayers when making health and lifestyle changes

RSVP below and submit your questions!
